The group is headquartered in Brixen (South Tyrol, Italy) and supplies machine builders and print service providers globally.
The introduction of the Zeugwerk Framework came at exactly the right time for us. This enabled us to significantly accelerate our cross-location harmonisation efforts. The framework offers invaluable implementation advantages, particularly for the planning of our series machines, which are manufactured from similar machine elements in different variants.
— Josef Unterrainer · Development Department · Durst Group
From a developer’s perspective, the Zeugwerk Framework impresses with its clearly structured, object-oriented approach, its foundational building blocks, and a consistent object model. The consistent use of reusable components and standardised interfaces allows us to implement even complex machine and plant logic efficiently and transparently. Extensions and adaptations can be integrated into existing projects without major side effects, which greatly simplifies onboarding and further development. In day-to-day use we benefit from the high degree of reusability through the clear separation of application logic and framework functionality.
— Georg Tauber · Research & Development Electronics · Durst Group
Zeugwerk additionally provides services around automated builds (CI/CD), testing, and documentation that integrate meaningfully into the development process. With this set of ’tools’ we are able to reduce development times, raise software quality, and at the same time ensure a long-term maintainable and scalable architecture. Overall we have had consistently very positive experiences and see clear added value in the Zeugwerk Framework for modern, structured automation projects.
